Charlotte’s hospitals stretch from the medical district just south of Uptown to the towns around Lake Norman, and a ride between any of them and home should be simple to arrange. We are based just across the Catawba in Mount Holly, about fifteen minutes from the airport and twenty from Uptown.
Rides Across the City
The big campuses sit close together south and east of Uptown. Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and Levine Children’s Hospital are on Blythe Boulevard in Dilworth, with Carolinas Rehabilitation on the same campus and Levine Cancer Institute next door on Morehead Medical Drive. Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center is on Hawthorne Lane in Elizabeth, and Atrium Health Mercy is a few blocks away on Vail Avenue.
Farther out, Atrium Health Pineville is off I-485 at Park Road, Novant Health Ballantyne and Matthews medical centers serve the south and southeast, Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center covers the east side, and Atrium Health University City sits beside the university in the northeast. North of the city, Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center and Atrium Health Lake Norman in Cornelius cover the lake towns. The Charlotte VA Health Care Center on West Tyvola Road is a short hop from the airport.

Do you go to every Charlotte hospital?
Yes. Atrium, Novant, the VA, and the specialist offices around them.
Can you take me home after a hospital discharge?
Yes. Call when the discharge time is set. If the rider can’t sit in a standard wheelchair for the trip, ask about the reclining chair.
Do you do airport rides?
Yes. Tell us the airline and the flight time when you book, and we’ll plan the pickup around it.
Do you serve the Lake Norman towns?
Yes. Huntersville, Cornelius, and Davidson are in Mecklenburg County, and Mooresville and Denver are in our range as well.
Are you an ambulance?
No. We are non-emergency transportation for riders who are stable and ready to travel. In an emergency, always call 911.
