About Carolina Premier Mobility
Healthcare Starts With a Ride
Carolina Premier Mobility is a medical transportation company in Mount Holly, North Carolina. We started it after years in healthcare showed us how much depends on the ride.
Why I Started Carolina Premier Mobility
I spent more than eight years leading healthcare and clinical operations across clinics, pharmacies, and rehab programs, and I kept seeing the same problem. Far too many people struggle to find dependable, dignified transportation to and from their care.
Coming from a dedicated healthcare family with decades of bedside nursing experience at home, we watched transportation become a major barrier between people and the care they need: a missed appointment, hours spent waiting in a lobby, or a family scrambling at the last minute. None of that should happen to anyone, least of all someone facing a serious illness.
So I started Carolina Premier Mobility to close that gap, with rides that are reliable, respectful, and centered on the person, not the trip. It is the kind of care we want for our own family, and it is a commitment to raising the standard of healthcare access in our community.

Why We Say VIP
VIP could have stood for very important patient, or very important passenger. We chose neither. To us, VIP means valued individual person, because someone who needs help getting to an appointment already spends enough of the day being a patient. On the ride, they are an individual person, and they matter. Being treated that way, with respect and dignity from the first hello, is what the ride is for.
What We Stand For
Reliability.
We arrive when we say we will, because the appointment is the reason for the ride.
Empathy.
We ask how the rider is doing, and we listen. Nobody is rushed.
Respect and dignity.
Every rider is greeted by name and spoken to as the VIP they are.
The person, not the trip.
Each ride is planned around who is riding, from the chair they use to how much help they want on the day.
Ready for a ride that treats them this way? Call, and we’ll set it up.
Our Driver Standards
Every driver passes a background check, a driving record check, and drug screening, and is certified in CPR and first aid. Each one also completes Passenger Assistance, Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) training, which includes wheelchair securement. Vehicles are fully sanitized between riders.
Who We Serve
We serve families arranging rides for a parent or a spouse, riders who book for themselves, and the hospices, hospitals, rehab centers, skilled nursing and assisted living communities, dialysis clinics, and adult day programs that need a transportation partner they can count on. We are a private-pay and facility-pay service and do not bill Medicaid or insurance.
